I miss home...
Here's to Singapore, my homeland - the first time I'm so patriotic, other than on 9 August. I miss home... my Twinkle, my Prince and my Royal family and friends...Life is dilemma. On one hand, I can't wait to get home, to my Jumbo Seafood, Bedok 85, Fish & Co., and of course, the other love of my life, TV; Yet on the other hand, I'm so terrified of studying in Singapore. It's way way way way way too stressful. Everyone is so sad studying in Singapore... Seriously, I've not come across a person who enjoys the mountain of never-ending assignments and projects in uni. *sigh* Yah I know, training us for the hectic work life right? Rubbish...
So we spend more than half of our lives rushing through our studies (remembering probably only about 50% of what we were taught), only to find out that we've to continue racing for the next half of our lives when we're out there climbing the corporate ladder. What a sad life we have! Is it just Singapore? Is the grass really greener on the other side?
For now, I'll just enjoy the air of freedom and my last few days here in Stockholm, a lovely city.
